Room 1 - Mrs Neill
Welcome to Primary One, Room One,
Where together we have lots of fun,
Mrs Neill and Miss Skelton help us each day
With all of our work and all of our play,
Here are some photos of the things that we do,
That's why we're so tired when we come out at two!
Hello, I hope everyone is keeping well.
I have uploaded 2 resources below
- A playdough recipe
- Our number formation rhyme cards
I have also uploaded a video onto Seesaw which demonstrates how to form different letters.
Hopefully you will find these resources useful.
If you would like to send me a photograph of any pieces of your work, I would love to see it! You can upload the photograph to Seesaw and I will be able to respond to you.
Much love Mrs Neill ♥️
Hello everyone! I hope that you have really enjoyed your Easter holidays. I’m sure you have been having fun in the sun. It is now time to get back to work! I know you will be busy working through your learning packs but every week I will have some extra activities for you! I will post them on our class page each Tuesday. You can try them on your own or with an adult.
You might want to keep a notebook or a scrapbook where you draw/write or stick in photos of what you have done. Please keep at least one of your pieces of Art or a picture of you doing an activity as it will be your first show and tell when School opens again.
This week is called ‘The Big Pedal’ this means that we should all go for a cycle or scoot each day.
Firstly, talk about how you can keep safe when you’re riding your bike or scooter. Then, practise riding your bike or scooter outside. Ask an adult to take a video or picture of you riding your bike and send it to your friends or family.
When you are out on your bike, stop and look at the number plates on the cars. Can you tell an adult what the numbers and letters are? Could you try writing some letters and numbers at home with an adult? You could maybe sing a few number songs or the alphabet song too!
I hope you enjoy these activities!
Love, Mrs Neill x
Happy Easter to all my wonderful boys and girls in Room 1!
I hope you are all safe and well. It has been very strange not being able to see you all. I think about each of you everyday and this always makes me smile. I miss all the fun we would be having in our class and of course the lovely hugs I always received.
I hope you have been able to do some work at home but now it's Easter, make sure you take a break and enjoy some time with your family being creative and active. Hopefully you will get to eat some Easter eggs too!
You are always in my thoughts and my prayers. I hope you stay safe and well and that we will see each other soon. Keep an eye on this page as I will be posting new messages each week with some fun things for you to do.
Lots of love and hugs from Mrs Neill
