Welcome to our classroom, Primary 1, Room 4. Our teacher is Mrs Dunne and our classroom assistant is Mrs Little.

Every day is a busy day in our classroom, packed with many learning experiences and lots of fun. We hope you enjoy looking at our photographs.

Hello, I hope you are keeping well.

I have uploaded 2 resources (below):

*a playdough recipe

*our number rhymes to help your child form numbers correctly

I have also uploaded a video on Seesaw which demonstrates how to form different letters. Hopefully you will find these resources helpful.

If you would like to send me a picture of your artwork, I would love to see it! You can take a picture of it and upload it to Seesaw and I will be able to respond to you!

Thanks, Mrs Dunne

Look at these lovely pictures I have received this morning! Your art work is amazing! Thank you so much for sending me these pictures!

Update: 20th April

Hello everyone! I hope that have you really enjoyed your Easter holidays. I’m sure you have been having fun in the sun. It is now time to get back to work! I know you will be busy working through your learning packs but every week I have some extra activities for you! I will post them on our class page each Tuesday. You can try them on your own or with an adult.

You might want to keep a notebook or a scrapbook where you draw/write or stick in photos of what you have done. Please keep at least one of your pieces of Art or a picture of you doing an activity as it will be your first show and tell when School opens again.

This week is called ‘The Big Pedal’ this means that we should all go for a cycle or scoot each day.

Firstly, talk about how you can keep safe when you’re riding your bike or scooter. Then, practise riding your bike or scooter outside. Ask an adult to take a video or picture of you riding your bike and send it to your friends or family.

When you are out on your bike, stop and look at the number plates on the cars. Can you tell an adult what the numbers and letters are? Could you try writing some letters and numbers at home with an adult? You could maybe sing a few number songs or the alphabet song too!

I hope you enjoy these activities!

Love, Mrs Dunnesmiley x

Hello boys and girls! I hope you are all well and enjoying learning new things at home. I miss seeing you each day, teaching you new things and working hard with you in class. I hope you have been able to do some of your work so far but make sure you take a break to spend time with your family and eat lots of Easter eggs! I hope to see you soon and I will be posting another message next week. Love Mrs Dunne smiley x
