Our Winter Art

Superheroes for Autism Day

We are studying our senses in PDMU. We looked at our tongues. ๐Ÿ‘… We looked for our taste buds on them. We tried to roll our tongues. Mrs Hutchinson could not roll hers, but look how well we did!!!๐Ÿ‘ We now know that some foods taste sweet, some are sour, some are bitter and some are salty. P1 think sweet is the best taste. We love chocolate ๐Ÿซ as a little treat. Crisps are salty and we like that taste too. Sour foods are not so good.

We saw a show in school today, as a little treat. It was the story of Snow White. We got to sing terrific songs with the actresses and actors. Mrs Neill and Mrs Jamieson were allowed to join the cast. We think they might be ask to join the cast. They were so good!! ๐ŸŽญ๐ŸŽญ

We went outside today to look at the birds. P7 helped us. We had clipboards and binoculars. How clever are we!!! We recorded our results on a tally chart.

We looked at what we wear in winter - hats, boots, scarfs and gloves. Today we started painting “All Wrapped Up for Winter.”

Great news!!!! The snow came today. We went outside to write with paintbrushes and play. What fun learning!

We are learning about Winter. We went outside to look at winter changes. We saw no leaves on the trees, ice on the playground and we felt cold. โ„๏ธโ„๏ธ We wore our coats, hats and scarfs.๐Ÿงค We came inside and started to paint winter trees. We did a blue background,  using our rollers. We then painted trees and added a little snow and ice to make it sparkle.
