• FOOTBALL

  Congratulations to the football team Luka Bates, Marko Bates, Calum Campbell, Bradley Close, Cody McCreight, Thomas McGrath and Nathan Williams who have successfully qualified for the Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council School Futsal Final.  The standard of football was very high with all matches very competitive.  The boys played exceptionally well and were undefeated with four wins and two draws.  We would like to thank Samuel McIlveen for his continued support in ensuring there are numerous indoor and outdoor football competitions in our Borough.  Well done boys!!

  Congratulations to P7 ballerina Libbie Thompson who was selected to dance with The Russian Theatre Ballet in their production of Sleeping Beauty.  This was a wonderful experience for Libbie who also got to perform a solo dance.  Well done Libbie!!

• P6 CHARITY ASSEMBLY

  Well done to P6 who led a wonderful Charity Assembly for pupils on Friday morning and then again for friends and family. They worked really hard and were so excited for their performances.  We also presented a cheque to the Links to Pink ladies, to date we have raised a total of £5000 which will go towards helping people in the Antrim Borough.  A fantastic amount, well done to everyone!

  Well done to P7 pupils Adam and Ross Kernaghan who represented school yesterday at the wreath laying ceremony in Antrim.  You both did so well, we are very proud of you.

  

• EARLY BIRDS

  Our Early Birds were very busy this morning.  The children enjoyed drawing beautiful poppies for Remembrance Day.  Mrs Wilson and Miss Goudy were so proud of all their wonderful art work they made a beautiful display.

  Congratulations to P1 pupil ZACH CLARKE who was the winner of the Tesco Pumpkin Colouring Competition.  Zach is pictured with his class teacher Mrs McConnell and Lesley Kirkpatrick form Tesco Antrim.  Well done Zach!

  Well done to everyone who took part in June donating their unwanted footwear to SALS SHOES.  We have now been informed our donation has reached its destination and children from Lebanon and Nicaragua are now wearing your shoes.  On their behalf THANK YOU !
