  • HOCKEY BLITZ

    Tue 30 Jan 2018

The school hockey teams had their first outing at the Antrim Schools Hockey Blitz held at Antrim Forum.  This local tournament was a great opportunity for both teams to display their skills and talent. There were some excellent results and very good displays of teamwork.  We look forward to our next blitz in February.

  • CROSS COUNTRY

    Fri 26 Jan 2018
Yesterday the Cross Country team attended the third and final race of the Flahavans race series.  The course was tough, long, hilly and muddy! A real challenge for all involved, including spectators.  Sophie Doherty and Finlay Ager were first to run the course as part of the fun run.  They performed brilliantly.  The girls ran next and worked hard to secure a place in the Northern Ireland finals in February. The boys were last to run and Paddy Roberts finished in third place with the rest of the team not too far behind.  The boys placed first overall in their race and have also earned a place in the Northern Ireland finals.  We are so proud of them for their consistent training in all weathers and excellent race performances.  We would like to thank our parents, helpers and supporters who play a vital role on the day.  Well done everyone!!nofrown
  • NSPCC

    Tue 23 Jan 2018
Today we were very pleased to have the NSPCC attend our assembly.  They delivered, with the help of their friendly mascot Buddy,  their Speak Out Stay Safe programme to make sure our pupils have the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse.
  • SPECIAL OLYMPICS

    Fri 12 Jan 2018
This morning we were very pleased to welcome some guests into our P4-P7 assembly to talk to pupils about the Special Olympics.  Amy talked to the children about who the Special Olympics is for, what different sports they offer and how to get involved.  We were also very lucky to have a short interview with Adam.  He is an Olympic athlete, from a local club, who has won over 100 medals!
  • TESCO BAGPACK

    Thu 11 Jan 2018

Well done to our school PTA and all those who very kindly gave up their time on Saturday 23rd December, a very busy time for everyone, to come and support our bag pack at Tesco.  A fantastic amount of £1462.44 was raised, which will go towards PTA funding for future events. A very successful morning!
