  • ABRSM MUSIC EXAMS

    Congratulations to our pupils who received their ABRSM music exam certificates in assembly today. This is a fantastic achievement. Well done to Rebecca Bell, Danni Bones, Aijia Guo, Laura Kitson, James Lee, Sophie Wray and Jamie Yin!

     

  • CORONATION TREE

    Tue 25 Apr 2023

    On Tuesday a number of P7 pupils planted a Coronation Tree on the school grounds. This was in partnership with Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Leah Smyth, assisted with the planting and presented the pupils with a trowel and wildflower pack. In addition to this, all pupils will receive a special commemorative item from the Council.

  • RECYCLING

    Fri 21 Apr 2023

    Our P3 and P5 children had a visitor from ARC21 today. They learned about recycling and compost today. The children got to make a seedling pot to plant  cress seeds in. It was a very informative and interesting visit.

  • FIRE

    Thu 20 Apr 2023

    On Tuesday we were pleased to welcome the firefighters from Antrim Depot who spoke with P5 children about the dangers of fire in the home. They also gave advice about how to keep ourselves and our families safe.

     

     

  • CORONATION PATCHWORK

    Jude Hyndman recently created a patchwork piece which will be added to other pieces of artwork to mark the King’s Coronation. Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, along with a number of other schools, are creating a Coronation Robe in celebration of King Charles III. Jude focused on the King’s love of nature, including flowers and bees in his creation. Well done Jude!

     

  • CENTENARY CUP MATCH

    We were thrilled that our school football team were invited to play a match druing the half-time interval of the Northern Ireland U18 Schoolboys v Republic of Ireland fixture in the Centenary Shield at the Blanchflower Stadium Belfast, on Thursday 30th March. This was a wonderful opportunity for these young footballers. They thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.
