On Friday 23rd February the Orchestra competed in the Primary School Orchestra Class at the Ballymena Festival of Music.  The competition was of a very high standard.  They performed two pieces, "Hornpipe" from the Water Music by Handel and "Tango Mexicana", a Mexican folk song. The children performed exceedingly well and were awarded first place receiving the Kyle McNamara Shield.
