ABRSM MUSIC EXAMS
Wed 30 Mar 2022Well done to P6 pupils Aijia Guo and Danni Bones who gained a Distinction and Merit respectively in the recent Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music graded examinations. Both girls sat their Grade 1 Clarinet at Antrim Board Centre last week. Congratulations on such a wonderful achievement!

LYRIC THEATRE PERFORMANCE
Thu 24 Mar 2022On Thursday P6 and P7 pupils enjoyed a play performed by the Lyric Theatre Company which provided a new engaging way for young people to learn about environmental issues. The theatre is aiming to raise awareness and positively change behaviours on issues of littering, recycling and plastic pollution.

Thu 03 Mar 2022Last week we were privileged to have the wonderful author Marianne McShane visit school for World Book Day. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed listening and interacting with Marianne, we look forward to a return visit to school again.

CROSS COUNTRY
Thu 03 Mar 2022Well done to P7 pupils Abigail Molloy and Daniel Boucher who represented APS on Thursday at Mallusk Playing Fields for the Flahavan's Primary Schools Cross Country Final. Both runners ran great races. Thank you to friends and family who made the trip to support both Abigail and Daniel.
