    Well done to Primary 6 pupils Georgie Hanna, Austin Betts and Primary 7 pupil Anna Kane who have read more than 1 million words on Accelerated Reader. This is a great achievement. We look forward to many more children reaching this goal.

    Our Primary 7 pupils took part in a variety of sporting activities for their sponsored activities, ranging from non stop rounders to fitness challenges.

    Our final total raised for the RVH for Sick Children was £2263.00. This is a fantastic amount raised for a very worthy cause. During these very uncertain times, which has been a difficult year for a lot of our families, thank you to everyone for your incredible generosity.

  • ROYAL BRITISH LEGION POPPY APPEAL

    We are very proud of  P7 pupil Daniel Ryan who completed the British Legion's 11/11 Challenge by: walking 11,000 steps per day; learning to count up to 11 in 11 different languages; and giving up his PlayStation for 11 days. Daniel raised the amazing total of £841 . Well done to Daniel!
  • STEM MINECRAFT COMPETITION

    A team of 8 Primary 7 pupils from the class of 2020 entered a CEA STEM competition to celebrate the launch of Minecraft Education in Schools. The pupils were given the challenge of creating a Viking world from scratch using 1m3 blocks.

    The team consisting of Alice Cardwell, Molly McKenna, Raiana Li, Owen Magee Smyth, Lewis Dobbin, Rokas Paulauskas, Ryan Knapper and Troy McLaughlin, constructed an outstanding replica of a Viking village and Irish monastery.

    Out of the 51 schools that registered, Antrim Primary were awarded second place and received the silver award. The judges described the entry as ‘fabulous’. To see the outstanding Viking village, the team created, check the ‘Pupils’ section of the school website.

  • HOTSEATING IN ROOM 12

    Room 12 has been reading the book "When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit". A few pupils have sat in the hotseat and answered questions in the persona of either Anna or Max. They were asked questions concerning their lives, since fleeing from Germany. It was a most enjoyable activity!
  • ODD SOCKS DAY

    We had lots of crazy and odd socks on display on Monday to highlight awareness for the prevention of bullying. Can you spot any of your socks?
