COMPETITION SUCCESS
Thu 17 Dec 2020Mrs Hasson’s P6, Room 21, have been watching Hope for Youth Ministries Assemblies with Colin Tinsley every week from the beginning of term and have won a competition to receive two new books each. They received the news live on the Hope for Youth Ministries YouTube channel on Friday morning and were extremely excited. They loved receiving their new books.

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY

CHRISTMAS ART PROJECT FOR ANTRIM FOODBANK
Thu 10 Dec 2020Children from various classes have been making beautiful handmade Christmas cards and Christmas decorations for the local food bank as part of a Christmas Art Project. Each class have created beautiful pieces which will be very much appreciated in Christmas hampers for local families this Christmas.

PANTO IN THE CLASSROOM
Tue 08 Dec 2020The P1-P4 pupils enjoyed the Christmas pantomime Hansel and Gretel in the comfort of their classrooms this week. The PTA kindly provided a drink and snack. -
P4 CHARITY ACTIVITY
Thu 03 Dec 2020The P4s learned and sang the Antrim Primary School song as their charity sponsored activity this year. Their topic this term is “Let’s Celebrate!” and as part of this topic, they were celebrating our school and its history. The school song was written by the school choir in 2009.

CHRISTMAS PARTY BOXES
Thu 03 Dec 2020The children really enjoyed their Christmas party boxes on Wednesday. They all loved the novelty of eating it in their classroom with all their friends. -
ROOM 23 NATURE ACTIVITIES
Tue 01 Dec 2020Primary 4 had a great time doing nature activities, they choose leaves in the school grounds and then brought them into the classroom to sort and name. -
P6 ROOM 7 SPONSORED ACTIVITY
Tue 01 Dec 2020Room 7 really enjoyed learning how to sign to the song, 'What a wonderful world.' They learnt all the words and each sign together in class. After practising at home and in school, they performed it on video for parents and they sponsored the pupils. The money went to the Royal Victoria Hospital for Sick Children.
