  • CHARLIE MARTIN

    Fri 09 Mar 2018

Well done to P4 pupil Charlie Martin who had the opportunity to pick up a few snooker tips from the 2018 Masters Snooker Championship Winner Mark Allen.  The local champ was celebrating his recent triumph held at Antrim Forum with local well-wishers.

  • DUATHLON

    Thu 08 Mar 2018

On Wednesday 7th March we had a team of ten take part in the Antrim Duathlon.  Pupils had to run 2 laps of the athletics track, cycle 5 laps then finish with one more running lap of the track.  The team performed brilliantly in what was a new and challenging event.  We were fortunate to have quite a few parents attend whose support makes a big difference and is always much appreciated.  Thank you to Mrs Molloy for volunteering to accompany us to and from the event.  Results are not available just yet but the team should be proud of their outstanding performance.

  • DISABILITY HUB LAUNCH

    Tue 06 Mar 2018
On Monday 5th March, 12 pupils from P7 attended the Disability Hub Launch at Antrim Forum.  Pupils were given an insight into various sports that Disability Sport NI coach in our Borough, including wheelchair games, Boccia, Goal Ball, Blind Football and Trikes/Tandems/Track Racers.  We would like to thank Mr David McKee for organising the event and allowing pupils to participate in such an enjoyable morning of sport.
  • ISLA MAYRS

    Fri 02 Mar 2018

On Thursday 22nd February, ISLA MAYRS took part in a short film produced by EATV.  Isla had to prepare a one minute speech on her favourite literary character, Matilda, and answer a series of questions in relation to her choice.  The video was launched today for World Book Day.  We are all very proud of Isla's performance,  the EA staff commented on Isla's "mature manner" and "confident delivery".  Well done Isla!
