  • SWIMMING GALA

    This year, Antrim PS pupils from P5, P6 and P7 participated in the annual Antrim and District Schools' Swimming Gala, which was held in Antrim Forum.  The swimmers represented school very well and some were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals for their effort.  Well done, everyone!  Pictured with their medals are: Annie Cathcart, Thomas Fleck, Ruben Forsythe, Molly Liggett, Caleb McClean, Michael McKay, Lewis Shields and Kirstin Taylor.

    Mrs McKee's P6 class had a great day at the RDS Primary Science Fair held in the Waterfront, Belfast.  They enjoyed showing their project "Why is Mars so important in Science Exploration".

    Our fluffy residents are getting so big.  They made the most of the recent heavy rain, taking the opportunity to have a swim.  The children are enjoying watching our new family grow. heart
  • ANTRIM HOCKEY CLUB

    Congratulations to pupils Alice Cardwell, Ruby HyndmanTegan MacDonald, Gemma McMeekin and Emily Wray who all represented Antrim Hockey Club U9 Girls at the recent Antrim Sixes Tournament held at Antrim Forum.  This talented bunch, who also represent Antrim PS at local competitions won first place in their group.  Very well done girls, plenty more to come!frown

    Congratulations to the boys hockey team Calum Campbell, Lewis Clark, Owen Creighton, Caleb McClean, Paddy Roberts, Euan Roberts and Freddie Thornton who won the cup at the Antrim Sixes hockey tournament on Friday.  The team has had a successful year and this was a much deserved win to end their season at primary school.

     

    The boys had a busy weekend also representing Antrim Hockey Club in the U11 section.  Along with P6 pupil Jason Hefferon they finished runners-up after a penalty shoot out in the final.  Well done boys!no
