'Start Right to Shine Bright'

Term 1

We have been exploring Cuisenaire. We used the rods to create different pictures or structures. We were delighted with what we made!!! 🤩 Have a look at these below.

I am concentrating as I look at all the different lengths. How tall can I make these pillars!! I’m exploring these lovely colours. Just a moment until I add the final piece. What beautiful colours!!! I have arranged these rods in order. The little pieces are so small. This looks fabulous. What a lovely animal. The corners on my square look lovely. Look at my 3D shape!, I have put colours and lengths in many ways. Look at the order of my rods! I am so pleased with my picture. Look at this lovely house! I am delighted with this practical maths activity! I will arrange my pieces and go from there.i I’m making a very long line around the board. Look at my bridge! There are so many different pieces. Look at my raft! I want to make a super large house!, I absolutely love this activity!, Look at my crisscross structure! I have made a beautiful house! I have arranged these in order!

Our future is so bright we have to wear sunglasses!!
