Tag Rugby
Aviva success!
Freddie Thornton and Euan Roberts represented Randalstown Rugby Club last weekend in a match at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Both boys thoroughly enjoyed the experience and both scored tries. Well done to both boys and we look forward to hearing about their future successes on the rugby pitch.

What is Tag Rugby?
Tag rugby is a non-contact team game in which each player wears a belt that has two velcro tags. The game is based on rugby football with many similarities to touch rugby. Attacking players attempt to dodge, evade and pass a rugby ball while defenders attempt to prevent them scoring by "tagging" – pulling a velcro attached tag from the ball carrier, rather than a full contact tackle. It is a game for all ages, all sizes and both male and female. A great way to keep healthy and have fun whilst doing it.
