P5 have really embraced TTRS! A huge thank you to families for their fantastic support at home. Congratulations to our ‘Most Valuable Players’ and our brilliant Rock Heroes for their outstanding effort and enthusiasm!
In P5, we have been using the CPA (Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract) approach to develop our Numeracy skills. The concrete materials help bring Maths to life and make learning easier to understand.
We are thrilled with our new laptops. ICT lessons have never been more engaging or enjoyable!
This term, we have been learning how to write effective instructions. With the help of our PGCE student, we created ‘Bob the Robot’ and had lots of fun writing detailed instructions to guide his actions.
In Room 16, we have been learning all about ‘Mighty Me’. We celebrated what makes each of us unique and discovered that everyone has their own superhero strengths!
It was wonderful to 'connect' once again with our friends from St. Comgall's as we begin another year of Shared Education.
We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with our Shared Education partners, St. Comgall's, developing mindfulness and observation skills through a 'Taking Notice' activity at the Castle Gardens.
