AUTHOR VISITS ON WORLD BOOK DAY
This week we were privileged to have two wonderful authors visit school for World Book Day. Liz Weir MBE is a writer and storyteller from N. Ireland and was the first winner of the International Story Bridge Award from the National Story Telling Network, USA. Myra Zepf has published 10 books for children and was the first ever Children's Writing Fellow for N. Ireland, based at the Seamus Heaney Centre (2017-2019). She also works extensively with schools providing poetry workshops and encouraging children's creativity in writing. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed listening and interacting with both authors, we hope they will return tour school again.
