Practical Sorting of bears and elephants into a Venn Diagram.
Shared Education at Antrim Castle Gardens
We walked to Antrim Castle Gardens to meet our friends from St Comgalls. We split into groups and collected lots of leaves and twigs from the forest floor. We put these together and made autumnal pictures. Before leaving, we had our snack with our friends. We said goodbye and walked back to Antrim Primary, a very tired little bunch. 👍

We used practical materials to find different ways of making 5. We used Cuisenaire Rods and counters. We wrote the sum to go with the practical work.
