'Start Right to Shine Bright'

Term 1

Learning in the Outdoors. We have been learning about patterns and using our Big Book to talk about Capital Letters. We decorated a capital letter at the start of our names , found patterns in nature and matched some pattern socks to hang on the line.

We have enjoyed listening to the story of Baboom. We were actors and we acted out the story.

We have been learning all about patterns. We have been making patterns during Taskboard, finding patterns outside in nature and printing patterns.

Learning to write our own name using chalk.

As part of our new Take 5 Friday program, we went on a listening walk to see what we could hear after we read the story called The Listening Walk.

The rain finally stopped and we got to develop our physical skills on the Trimtrail

We have been very busy so far in P1. We have enjoyed lots of art! We painted a hat for Smarty Pants.

As part of our topic Helping Hands we have been learning all about ourselves. We drew around Oliver and then we labelled the body parts.
