Activity Based Learning session 2 for our topic Weather Watchers β„οΈπŸŒˆβ˜€οΈβ›„οΈπŸŒ§οΈπŸ›°οΈ

Investing arrays when learning our two times tables.

Activity Based Learning on in our new WAU topic. We made satellites, wind twirlers, became researchers on a variety of weather topics and in our small world in the Artic and the Antarctic. We were meteorologists and had to present the weather forecast to the class. Unfortunately there was a red warning for high winds as β€˜Storm 67’ hit Northern Ireland. We developed our coding skills using Just2Easy. Can’t wait for session 2 πŸ‘πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Our topic started by looking at satellites that tell us about the weather. We have been learning about satellites in class and then made them today from a variety of card and paper. πŸ›°οΈπŸ›°οΈ

Using chalk pastels to create our moonlit trees in Winter 🌲

Using Just2Easy to make weather maps. We had to label each country and add weather symbols β˜€οΈ 🌈 🌧️

Back to school after the Christmas holidays and we start off with multiplying.
