Shared Education- Mrs Thornton came to speak to us today about dinosaurs and fossils. We then made dinosaur skeleton pictures using straws.🦖🦕

STEAM WEEK - Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. We had a great week. Have a look at our photos 😀

We talked about our teddy bears and planned how to draw them. Making the shape of the body was tricky! We all enjoyed shading and adding detail.

Superhero Day

Today we made a THAUMATROPE.

It is a circle with a different picture on each side. When you spin it quickly, the pictures seem to combine. The thaumatrope was invented in 1825 and was a popular toy.

We really enjoyed the team games during Playsport today. Ross was our champion Goalie and Jessica, our champion striker!!!! WELL DONE

Sewing and decorating our Teddy puppets.

We really enjoyed talking and writing about our favourite toy from home. We read our writing to the class and enjoyed hearing the names of toys and where they came from. Some children bought their toys and some toys were a gift. In the afternoon we sketched our toy and used oil pastels to colour.
