  P1 are learning about "People who help us". Today they were learning about the dentist. We had a dentist in school today to explain their job and why it is important to visit them.

  We are delighted to announce that Antrim PS is now a ‘Take 5’ school. Today we launched our ‘Take 5 Fridays’ program with a "Daybreak Dance". The children all thoroughly enjoyed it.

  Pupils from Antrim Grammar School came to school today to teach our P6 & P7 children French. It gave the children an insight into what they will be learning at secondary school.

• P7 SHARED EDUCATION

  P7 enjoyed a successful Shared Education activity, on Friday, with St Comgall’s. As part of our programme, the focus was on our community and being active citizens. Thanks to Noel Lyons, from Arc 21, for delivering a Waste Management talk. The children took part in an interactive quiz and had the opportunity to hear about ways to reduce waste.
