SCHOOL COUNCIL
Fri 29 Nov 2024Our new School Council have been elected and introduced themselves in our assembly this morning. They reminded pupils that they are here to represent them, and told them of some of the suggestions we have already had from classes this term. School council are looking for donations of pre-loved Christmas Jumpers to sell at the school fair on Thursday 5h December.

P6 CHARITY ASSEMBLY
Fri 15 Nov 2024Well done to all P6 pupils and staff who delivered two excellent performances for school, family and friends in our charity assembly this morning. Together, we have raised an amazing total of £1770.00 to help support Children in Need. Thank you to everyone for your incredible generosity and continued support. Special thanks to Asda who arranged our special visitor.

NI Commissioner for Children and Young People
Wed 13 Nov 2024On Wednesday 13th November, the Children’s Commissioner, Chris Quinn, opened an exhibition highlighting children’s rights called, 'FOR EVERY CHILD...EVERY RIGHT!'. He invited children from primary schools in the area to come and view the exhibition, find out a bit more about children’s rights and to also introduce himself as their Children’s Commissioner. Lydia, Ruby, Carson and Drew went to Antrim Library to meet Chris and to learn more about his role in safeguarding and promoting the rights and best interests of children and young people.

CROSS COUNTRY
Fri 08 Nov 2024On Thursday morning, Antrim Primary runners took part in their first race of this academic year at the Antrim Forum. 18 pupils took part, competing against children from 20 other primary schools. The children all performed amazingly, pushing themselves to do their best. Thomas Lee finished in 4th place in the boys' event, with Marley Neal close behind. It was wonderful to watch and hear them cheer and encourage each other round- we are so proud of you! Well done to all.
