  • County Antrim PS Football Invitational

    Wed 22 Apr 2026

    CHAMPIONS

Last week the boys’ football squad took part in the County Antrim PS Football Invitational. Up against the strongest teams from the Belfast, Lisburn, Carrickfergus, Ballymena, Ballyclare and A&N districts, they knew they would have to be at their best – and they were. With eight games to play APS never lost a match, scoring a tally of nineteen goals. With penalties and a sudden death shoot out along the way, they secured their spot in the final. In a tense match with plenty of drama, we went on to be crowned champions at the end of the tournament. The boys’ collected their first silverware of the season so far and we are incredibly proud of their dedication and hard work. Thank you to the travelling supporters whose attendance makes all the difference.

Squad: Jaxson, Alfie, Matthew, Will, Isaac, Leo, Kayden, Kuzi, Marley, Olly, Max.

  • HOCKEY

    Tue 21 Apr 2026

Well done to both the boys' and girls’ hockey teams who took part in the NI Hockey Finals this week at Playball Stormont. Both squads faced some very tough opposition from the best of hockey teams across Northern Ireland. Well done to all for a fantastic display of hockey and for representing school so well, all pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day. A special thanks to our parent helpers for escorting the girls’ squad, and to DF Ross & Sons Ltd who funded transport for the boy’s squad. All your contributions and help for our pupils is very much appreciated.

Girls’ Squad: Poppy, Olivia, Maya, Rosa, Willow, Katy, Madison, Emily , Jessica.

Boys’ Squad: Jack, Beau-Ryan, Benjamin, Thomas, James, Harry, Drew

  • BOYS FOOTBALL

    Tue 21 Apr 2026

With a number of schools forfeiting their games this week due to other commitments, the APS footballers secured full points up for grabs this week. With only two games to play, the squad dominated in both with some great teamwork. With time to spare we agreed to some friendlies with St Comgall’s PS and Six Mile IPS. Antrim PS also came out on top on the derbies, showing we are the team to beat this year; we remain top of the league.

Squad: Alfie, Matthew, Will, Isaac, Leo, Marley, Olly, Conor.
