  • ANTRIM FIRE STATION

    On Thursday we were delighted to welcome firefighters from Antrim Depot who spoke with P5 children about the dangers of fire in the home. They also gave advice about how to keep ourselves and our families safe.

    We had a fantastic production of Wonka this week by P7. Thank you to all family and friends who came to support P7 pupils and staff on their excellent performances this week. Again, congratulations to everyone involved, we are extremely proud of them all.

    Congratulations to former pupil Josh Rock who won the Dutch Darts Championship at the weekend to secure his first European Tour title.

    After her success with the school cross country races through the year Evie started her years programme with Athletics NI after qualifying in the Top 20 primary school children in Northern Ireland, which give her the chance to join the Athletics NI Endurance Squad. The first session was at Mary Peter’s Track. We wish her all the best.

    PRIMARY SCHOOL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

    A huge congratulations to all of the boys who have represented school throughout the season. Their hard work and dedication has paid off! The focus of the team now turns to the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Primary Schools’ Cup, that is due to take place in June.

  • CASTLE GARDENS VISIT

    P4 went on a walk with the Castle Grounds Rangers. They played in the sensory garden, looked at minibeasts in the river, did birdwatching and walked through the underground tunnel. The highlight was seeing a pair of kingfishers flying together up the river. 

     

  • YOUTH FOR HOPE MINISTRIES ASSEMBLY

    P4-P7 had an assembly on Monday with Colin Tinsley from Youth for Hope Ministries. The theme was joy. The children thoroughly enjoyed it.
