BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Fri 28 Feb 2025Today our boys' cross country squad headed to the Flahavan’s School League Finals at Mallusk. It was an amazing achievement for the boys to qualify, and they all gave their best. The rest of the squad were delighted to be there to support them, and to celebrate the end of a successful season. Huge thanks to Steven Neeson for sponsoring our lovely new kit this year, and for the fantastic photographs from all our races. Thanks also to Christine Neal for the photographs today.

DIGITAL GENIUS ASSEMBLY
Fri 28 Feb 2025Room 19 took our assembly today, we learned about how online scams, how to spot them, what to look out for and what to do.

ULSTER SCOTS CLUB
Thu 27 Feb 2025Shirlie Gregg (the education officer for the Ulster Scots Agency) came to take our club this week and she was teaching the children about the Ulster Scots language. The children realised they actually use quite a lot of Ulster Scots when they talk everyday!

STEAM WEEK – AGS MATHS DAY
Mon 24 Feb 2025As part of our STEAM Week, Antrim Grammar Maths Pupils joined some of our P6 and P5s for interactive maths games. We enjoyed playing together maths bingo, heads-up maths and the 1% club. A big thank you to AGS Maths Department for making maths fun!

GIRLS FOOTBALL
Fri 21 Feb 2025Well done to the girls football squad who competed this week in the next round of their campaign. The girls had a mixed day, losing two matches, however, delighted to secure two well-earned wins this week. Squad - Olivia Cochrane, Daniella Dumba, Sienna Fawcett-McKnight, Chloe Graham, Mia Greenwood, Farrah Johnston, Evie Murdough, Poppy Nicholl and Emily O'Boyle.

BALLYMENA FESTIVAL OF MUSIC SPEECH AND DRAMA
Fri 21 Feb 2025Congratulations to the school choir who won 1st place in the ‘Primary School Unison Choir’ AND ‘Best Overall Primary School Choir’ at the Ballymena Festival of Music, Speech & Dance. We are absolutely thrilled for them all, their hard work and dedication has paid off. Special thanks also to Mrs Brooks and Mrs Hughes who coached and prepared the pupils, and of course those family and friends who travelled to support them, we are super proud!

Thu 20 Feb 2025The children are thoroughly enjoying their afterschool "Ulster Scots" club. They have been learning a little bit about the Ulster Scots tradition through songs, drama, stories, dance, and music.
