RUBEN FORSYTHE
Mon 12 Nov 2018Congratulations to P7 pupil Ruben Forsythe who competed at the Diving Irish Open in Dublin during the half term break. With 22 divers from across the UK, Ruben dived extremely well to secure 3rd place, just 3 point off gold. Well done Ruben!

Thu 08 Nov 2018On Thursday morning former pupil and Ireland hockey player Zoe Wilson came to our assembly to talk about her hockey career and showed us the silver medal she won at the hockey world cup.

NAME THE BEAR
Fri 26 Oct 2018Well done to Jake Quigley who won the PTA Name the Bear competition.Jake called the bear Jiggly. The children all had great fun thinking up names and raised money for the PTA at the same time. -
MOVING FOWARD TOGETHER CHOIR
Tue 16 Oct 2018On Thursday night over 20 choir members from P6/7 joined with children from other schools in the Antrim and Randalstown area to perform in a Shared Education Choir at a Moving Forward Together event in Parkhall Integrated College The 150 strong choir performed a variety of pieces including "The Bare Necessities" and "This is Me". Thank you to all the children who took part and to the parents and grandparents who went along to support them. -
CROSS COUNTRY
Mon 15 Oct 2018Well done to all pupils who took part in the cross country heats of the annual Flahavans NI Cross Country League last week. There were lots of fantastic results. -
SUNFLOWER COMPETITION
Mon 15 Oct 2018Well done to Harry Doone who won the competition for the ANBC sunflower contest, his sunflower was a massive 10 feet 11 inches tall. The mayor came to school on Friday to present him with his prize and a prize for school. -
SPORTS FOR SCHOOLS
Fri 05 Oct 2018We had a wonderful day on Wednesday when local athlete Christine McMahon visited school. All children got involved by taking part in a circuit session covering four activities. During the afternoon Christine did a short demonstration, followed by a question and answer session. The children thoroughly enjoy the day!

Stop, Look and Listen
Thu 27 Sep 2018We had the PSNI in assembly today explaining the importance of road safety. Some of our pupils had the opportunity to try out some of their high visibility clothing. Remember STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN. -
Save the Children Cheque Presentation
Thu 27 Sep 2018A fantastic £1074.85 was presented to Mrs Paddy Glass from Save the Children today. A big well done to everyone who collected pennies last year. -
SUNFLOWER COMPETITION
Tue 18 Sep 2018Congratulations to P5 pupil Harry Doone who is the winner of our sunflower competition. Harry's flower grew to a massive 10 foot 11 inches tall which will now go forward to represent Antrim PS in the ANBC competition. Well done to everyone who had fun taking part, and good luck Harry!
