CROSS COUNTRY
Fri 26 Jan 2018Yesterday the Cross Country team attended the third and final race of the Flahavans race series. The course was tough, long, hilly and muddy! A real challenge for all involved, including spectators. Sophie Doherty and Finlay Ager were first to run the course as part of the fun run. They performed brilliantly. The girls ran next and worked hard to secure a place in the Northern Ireland finals in February. The boys were last to run and Paddy Roberts finished in third place with the rest of the team not too far behind. The boys placed first overall in their race and have also earned a place in the Northern Ireland finals. We are so proud of them for their consistent training in all weathers and excellent race performances. We would like to thank our parents, helpers and supporters who play a vital role on the day. Well done everyone!!
