  • P1 -P3 Trips

    P1 - P3 pupils have recently enjoyed class trips for the summer term.  Children enjoyed Streamvale Farm, the Zoo and Springhill House.  We were ever so fortunate with great weather for each occasion.  Great fun had by everyone laughsmileyno
  • PTA PRESENT CHEQUE & BOOKS TO ANTRIM PRIMARY SCHOOL

    The PTA came into school to present the children with their new school books! Funds were raised through our Fun Run and Five Mile Run. We would like to thank the PTA for all their organising and hard work, and all the students, families and friends for their participation and kind donations. Thank you!!!

    We had the pleasure of the author Jan Carson coming to visit Antrim Primary School this week, Jan ran workshops for our P1-P4 students who all had lots of fun!
  • LEGO LEAGUE

    On Friday 5th May our LEGO League junior team attended the LEGO Exhibition at W5.  The team Owen Creighton, Jason Hefferon, Euan Roberts, Calvin Stewart and Erin Woods all enjoyed the experience and were presented with medals and certificates.

  • MR DREW TAGGART

    Today we invited Mr Drew Taggart to Assembly.  Mr Gourley presented Mr Taggart with a gift on behalf of Antrim PS for all his hard work and contribution to the organising and preparations for our recent 5 Mile Race in partnership with PACE Running Club.  The race was  a very popular event with over 100 runners taking part, not forgetting our very own 600 runners who participated in their  fun runs during school.  Special thanks to Mr Taggart and everyone at PACE Running Club for helping make both events so successful.  Included are pupils Ben Adams, Logan Canning, Serena Jairath and Sophie Nelson.

  • ATHLETICS NORTHERN IRELAND

    Congratulations to Rylee Shaw, Libbie Thompson and Tristian Wilson who after competing in the Regional Primary School Sports Hall Athletics event, were selected to represent their region at The NI Finals.  All three pupils performed exceptionally well and thoroughly enjoyed the competition. Future Olympians in the making....well done!
