P5 TRIP
Wed 03 Jun 2026Our Primary 5 pupils had an unforgettable Fun Day at the Antrim Forum, filled with excitement from start to finish! The children loved getting creative with slime making, bouncing with joy on the inflatables, and challenging themselves during action-packed Hyrox activities. There was so much laughter, energy, and fantastic teamwork on display throughout the day. Smiles were everywhere as everyone enjoyed every moment together and made wonderful memories. A huge thank you to Transform Gym for generously providing their services free of charge and helping make the day so truly special!

TEACH TO THE BEAT
Tue 02 Jun 2026P4 have been thoroughly enjoying their Teach to the Beat music lessons and have now started to explore the "Savour the Flavour" unit. They especially loved the song “In the Trolley”, demonstrating excellent listening skills as they selected and filled their own trolley with pictures. They have been exploring musical terms such as tempo and pulse, using percussion instruments to support their understanding. They listened carefully to three classical pieces of music and successfully identified whether the tempo was slow, fast or steady. All of this learning has been enriched by discussions around healthy eating and maintaining a balanced diet—what a fantastic experience!
