  • P1 ADMISSIONS 2022-2023

    The key dates for admissions to primary school are confirmed with applications for admission to Primary One opening on Monday 10th January 2022 at 12:00 noon. More information on the admissions process will be available over the coming weeks. We are trying to reach as many families as possible with this important information. So, if you know of any families with children who are eligible to enrol in primary in September 2022 please share this information with them if you can. In addition, if you would like more detail on the processes involved please visit the Education Authority’s at https://www.eani.org.uk/admissions.  

     

    Please note places are not allocated on a first come, first served basis, and applications will only be considered after the closing date. 

     

    Admission criteria is now live, please ensure you list ALL relevant critera on your application.

     

    We can provide support to anyone who feels they would like assistance to complete their application online. Please see the attached admissions information or contact the school office.

    P4 enjoyed a visit from author Kaana Johnston and illustrator Adam Gould. Kaana talked about her book The Cat and the Gecko and Adam showed us some of his drawings used in the book.

  • BENEDETTI FOUNDATION

    On Friday we had the Benedetti Foundation in school for a music workshop for our P5 children. The workshop introduced pupils to the fundamentals of music and encouraged them to consider how music is used in their lives, how they can listen differently and become more engaged and curious about music. It was led by Lucy Drever and Rosie Bergonzi and covered singing, lyric writing, rhythm, composition, active listening, storytelling and body percussion.

  • LOUGH NEAGH RESCUE

    On Friday we presented Lough Neagh Rescue with a cheque for the funds raised through our sponsored singing. Our total raised to date is now £1869.20. You can still donate online. Thank you to everyone who supported us this year, your generosity is much appreciated.

  • DAILY MILE SANTA RUN

    Well done to all pupils who took part in the NI Daily Mile Santa Run, an amazing 550 schools across NI signed up for the day! This fun event was a great way to get children moving and talking about physical and mental health.

    Our Primary 1 pupils thoroughly enjoyed their first outing on Friday, with a trip to the theatre to see Snow White. There was also a surprise appearance from a special visitor.
