ACTIVITY NI FUN DAYS
Tue 14 Jun 2022Our children have been enjoying a range of activities with Activity NI this week. They have got to try archery, tag ruby, fencing, football, basketball and dodge ball. All children have enjoyed sessions with Activity NI this year.

DRESSAGE IRELAND
Tue 14 Jun 2022Congratulations to P7 pupil Ellie Mae Kerr who was placed 2nd in Dressage Ireland at Connell Hill on Saturday. Ellie Mae is now through to the Dressage Championship at Necarn Castle in July. This is a fantastic achievement. Well done Ellie Mae!

TIMES TABLES ROCKSTARS TOURNAMENT
Mon 13 Jun 2022Our school participated in the NI Times table Rockstars tournament. Primary 5 really enjoyed the experience. Our top 3 performers were Maisie McKibben, Sophie Wray and Charlie Woods respectively. Well done to everyone who took part.

JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS
Tue 31 May 2022The children had a great time celebrating the Jubilee. There were lots of costumes on show in the parade and fun was had by everyone.

Platinum Jubilee Commemorative Coins
Mon 30 May 2022In October 2021 Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council agreed to present a commemorative coin to all primary school pupils within the Borough to celebrate the seventy year reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll.
As part of this celebration two members of our School Council, Lewis Fulton and Jason Park, attended a reception hosted by the Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Councillor Billy Webb MBE JP in The Old Courthouse. At this reception the Deputy Lord Lieutenant and Mayor presented both boys with a bespoke 40mm commemorative coin depicting the official Platinum Jubilee emblem. Coins were also given out to take back to school for each child in Antrim PS.
