  This week we welcomed our new P1 pupils to Antrim PS.  They have settled into their new school very well and have enjoyed lots of fun activities.  

  

• Start of Term

  Thu 20 Jul 2017

  School will recommence on Wednesday 30th August.  

   

  P2 - P7 pupils will finish at 12.15pm on both Wednesday 30th August and Thursday 31st August.

   

  Normal school hours will resume on Friday 1st September.

   

  Primary 1 pupils will be aware of their staggered starting/finishing times.

• SAL'S SHOES COLLECTIONS

  Thank you to all our pupils and families for their kind donations towards Sal's Shoes. With our non uniform donations we managed to raise £242.16 to send along with the shoes.

  

• PRIZE DAY 2017

  Congratulations to all our Prize Winners! And thank you to our former teacher Mrs McClean who returned to Antrim Primary School to present the awards to the children.

  

• LAST DAY OF TERM JUNE 2017

  School will close at 12 o'clock on Friday 30th June. As is previous years a staggered system will be in place, children will be escorted to the door by their teacher: -

   

  11.40pm   P4 - P6 

   

  11.50pm   P1 - P3

   

  Crossing Patrols will be in place. The school kitchen will be closed on Friday.

   

  50p for Non uniform .....Remember your old shoes for SALS SHOES!!!

• PRIZE DAY 2017

  We had a wonderful morning at our annual Prize Day, we would like to say a big thank you to our past teacher Mrs Edna McClean for distributing the prizes to the pupils and a huge congratulations to our pupils who won prizes for their Academic, Sport and Musical endeavour!

  

• LOUGH NEAGH RESCUE VISIT

  Today the winners from the Lough Neagh Rescue colouring competition got to enjoy a trip to meet the crew and hear all about their activities.  The children got to sample some of the equipment used, and thoroughly enjoyed their day out. 

  

• ANTRIM FESTIVAL

  Thank you to everyone who came out to support us at the Antrim Festival last Friday night. This was a fabulous event which the children thoroughly enjoyed.

  

• P2 - TESCO

  Room 10 visited Tesco to take part in their "Farm to Fork" trail.  Check out their class page for more photos and information.

  

• YOUNG INNOVATORS

  Mrs McKee's P6 class travelled to The Big Bang Fair held at Ulster University, Jordanstown.  The pupils had the opportunity to attend science shows and workshops.  A great day enjoyed by everyone.
